What an incredible couple of weeks for the Secret Harbour Dockers! 💜🤍
We were incredibly fortunate to be selected by WA Football to host Fremantle Dockers players at our Junior and Youth training sessions, followed by club signings and a Q&A.
Last week we welcomed Patrick Voss and Josh Treacy for a fun and entertaining evening, and this week we were lucky enough to have Heath Chapman (#5), Brandon Walker (#31), Joshua Draper (#37) and the always awesome Karl Worner (#23) spend the afternoon with our players and families.
From Auskick through to our Youth teams, seeing our SH Dockers train alongside AFL players, ask questions, collect signatures and create lifelong memories was something truly special.
These opportunities don’t just happen by chance. They are the result of building genuine relationships and a positive reputation across the football community. Behind the scenes, our President, Jacqui Thompson, spends countless hours on the phone, attending meetings, building connections and proudly promoting our club. That ongoing work helps ensure Secret Harbour is front of mind when limited opportunities like these become available.
They are also a reflection of the positive culture our club has worked so hard to create, strengthening the connections between our junior and senior programs and building a true One Club environment where every player matters.
A huge thank you to WA Football for recognising the direction of our club and making these visits possible, and to the Fremantle Dockers players for giving up their time to inspire the next generation. Your generosity, patience and willingness to connect with our young footballers made a lasting impression.
None of this is achieved by one person alone. It takes a dedicated committee, amazing volunteers, coaches, team managers, families and players all working together to make Secret Harbour a club people want to partner with.
